LIFEPAC is one of Alpha Omega Publications’ three main curriculum lines (alongside Horizons and Monarch), built around a self-paced, mastery-based worktext model rather than Horizons’ teacher-led, spiral-review workbooks. Each subject comes as a set of 10 consumable, magazine-sized worktexts (called LIFEPACs) that include the instruction, activities, and tests all in one booklet — a typical pace is one worktext per subject per month.
Younger grades (K-2) need more parent involvement, but from grade 3 on, LIFEPAC is designed for genuinely independent student work, which makes it a popular choice for families with several children at different levels.
