OUR STANDARDS
What makes a review trustworthy?
We don’t believe the loudest opinion is always the most helpful. That’s why every review follows the same principles.
We don’t believe the loudest opinion is always the most helpful. That’s why every review follows the same principles.
Our goal isn’t to tell you what’s best,
We use a 5-star scale so you can quickly understand how a curriculum performs where it matters most.
A holistic look at the curriculum based on content quality, effectiveness, and overall satisfaction.
How parent-friendly the curriculum is to plan and deliver.
How well the curriculum held the child’s attention and interest.
Everything you need to know about our review process.
You. Real homeschool parents.
Absolutely, and please do. A review that says “we tried this for 6 weeks and quit because X” is incredibly valuable to other families. Not finishing doesn’t disqualify your experience. It might be the most honest review on the page.
Secular means the curriculum does not teach from a religious worldview or perspective. For instance, a secular history curriculum might cover the Crusades or the role of the church during medieval times in Europe. It just means faith isn’t the lens everything is taught through.
No. We are completely independent. Every rating on this site is earned through real family experiences — not paid for. Publishers cannot boost their listing, alter their rating, or remove a review.
