La Clase Divertida (“The Fun Class”) is a video-based Spanish curriculum built around short, thematically-focused lessons, songs, hands-on crafts, and cultural exploration — no prior Spanish knowledge is needed to teach it. Each level kit includes DVD or streaming video instruction, an audio CD, workbooks, a teacher’s manual, and craft materials for up to two students, with roughly 30 weeks of lessons per level.
The program spans three levels, taking students from PreK through 8th grade, and comes from a Christian point of view without being overtly Biblical in most lessons — Level III specifically includes a unit on presenting the Gospel message in Spanish. Beyond the elementary levels, creator Dale Gamache also offers live online high school Spanish classes for those wanting to continue toward a full high school credit.
