BJU Press is a curriculum publisher affiliated with Bob Jones University — not itself a school. It teaches every subject through a Creation-Fall-Redemption biblical framework, aiming for critical thinking rather than pure memorization. It’s designed as a complete, all-in-one system, but every subject is also sold individually, so many families start with just one subject (commonly science or English) before committing to a full grade-level kit.
Most families use the Homeschool Hub streaming platform, where instructors teach directly to camera; the Hub also handles scheduling, grading, and record-keeping. A textbook-only, parent-led path is also available, or a mix of both. Families wanting an accredited diploma and transcript can enroll separately in The Academy of Home Education, a distinct accredited school that uses BJU Press materials — the base curriculum itself is not accredited.
